BRONZE

Garnier & Linker's taste is primarily expressed through the history of materials in which bronze holds a special place. With its style at once vintage and contemporary, bronze represents durability despite its evolution over time. It is equally inconsistent and intriguing.

Its versatile features have inspired multiple Garnier & Linker applications, which underscore its various qualities. The latter include freedom of form and consistency with a creator's developed model, not forgetting bronze's unique color and materiality.

"ALL OUR BRONZE PIECE CREATIONS ARE MADE
TO BE TOUCHED.
THIS WAY, THE HUMAN HAND HELPS TO CREATE THE PATINA."

Bronze has become integral to Garnier & Linker's creations, whether used in lighting, furniture or objects. Characteristics aside, it is the most conducive material in the creative studio process.

By applying the lost-wax cast bronze technique, G&L produce fully-shaped and textured workshop models. The wax, which is entrusted to the bronze caster, will melt and is replaced by a bronze replica.

This engages interaction between creators and craftsmen from the moment the bronze is cast through to decisions on edits and patinas.
